Info: Live Futures 2020: A World of Convergence is a futures festival being held at COFA our collaboration partner on August 15th 2009. This is the third year of Live Futures 2020 and the community, students, staff and researchers are being asked to participate in collaboration projects as part of the festival. The purpose is to share one’s own passions and expertise with others to create something new. Global Youth Futures and Future Journeys has created the festival to enable people to understand the future, and to start to co-create it with others. A celebration with futurists, artists, designers, community creators, scientists, architects, environmentalists, engineers, technologists, entrepreneurs. Innovation occurs in the accidental meeting space of different expertise and focus. “Diversity enables innovation” Keywords for the festival are : Convergence, Collision, Community, Collaboration, Collusion, Collection, Communication, Conjunction, Conversation… And some of the Collaboration/Collision spaces are: Sustainable Art, Sustainable Community, Sustainable Collaborations, Sustainable Research, Sustainable Science, Sustainable Design, Sustainable Technologies, Sustainable Engineering, Sustainable Business, Sustainable ………
