Info: Come on an illustrated journey with DECC scientist, geographer and geologist Glenn Atkinson to our unique Hastings landscapes. Discover how some of our iconic landforms and landscapes have evolved and what makes them so special. Glenn will be available for questions over a cuppa after the session.
Glenn Atkinson is a Senior Environmental Scientist from DECC Scientific Services Division based at Kempsey. He has worked on the soils and landscape history of the Hastings area for the past 20 years. He has mapped the Soil Landscapes of the area and has worked in acid sulfate soils, and more recently on the effects of sea level change over the past few thousand years. Bookings are essential as numbers are limited.
