Info: As part of the Lagoon Life Festival, the Manly Environment Centre is running a laboratory on the edge of Manly Lagoon. Science-based activities scheduled throughout the day are of particular interest to students and all members of the community. These include:

* Environmental audit – conduct a visual assessment of the lagoon using all your senses

* Flora and fauna identification – includes a guided bird watching tour and a live frog display

* Scientific talks including Andrew Lo, local authority on the Climbing Galaxias, a unique fish with Gondwanian origins found in the lagoon catchment

* SAM trailer – an interactive demonstration of the impact of stormwater pollution

* Lots of additional interactive activities for the kids
