Dive into DNA

See examples of what DNA can teach us about our health and disease. How can you use a set of clothes pegs, a phone book, a rope and a hula hoop to help explain DNA, proteins, mutations, biotechnology and genetic illnesses? Come along to this amusing show to find out!

This talk covers the basics of DNA through to the complexities of transgenic organisms: how they are created and what they can teach us about our own genetics.

When: Saturday 29 August; 12pm
Where: ABC Atrium, 700 Harris St, Ultimo
Tickets: Free, no bookings required

Presented by the Children’s Medical Research Institute, Westmead.
